How to Send Notes in Bulk
Looking to send notes to multiple recipients fast and easily?
Sending handwritten cards and notes in bulk is one of Handwrytten’s most powerful capabilities. It enables businesses, non-profits, and individuals to build meaningful, personal connections at scale - something no other channel can replicate.
It’s also the feature that tends to generate the most questions so we’ve outlined everything you need to know below to make bulk sending simple, efficient, and successful.
Step 1: Select a card and click Bulk Send
Step 2: Download the Bulk Import Template
If you haven't already downloaded our Handwrytten Bulk Import Template, simply click "Download a Template".
Once you have opened the newly downloaded file, the file will open on our "Instructions" tab. Please see the instructions provided for either the Basic Tab or the Advanced & Template Tab.
IMPORTANT: After filling in the "Basic" or "Advanced" sheet, save the Excel workbook with the specific tab you're working on. When you re-open the spreadsheet, the tab you were working on should be the first page that shows. By having this page saved as the active sheet, Handwrytten will know you want to use this it.
Step 3: Uploading the Template
Once you have saved the template on either the Basic or Advanced tab, go back to the order screen and click the orange "Upload a File" button, select the file saved on your computer, then click upload. If the template was filled out correctly and the original formatting wasn't changed or deleted, you will see a "Success" pop-up on the screen as shown below. If the original formatting was changed or deleted, the file will not upload correctly and will show an error message.
Step 4: Add your touch: Font, custom inserts, gift cards, adjust the shipping method, and delivery confirmation
After you have successfully uploaded the bulk import template, you will now have the option to change the font and preview the message
Before clicking the orange "Add to Basket" button on the bottom of the screen, be sure to add your insert and/or gift card, choose the appropriate mailing or shipping method, and determine if you need delivery confirmation.
